A.K.A., Flight’s been working on the website again, oh dear.
Confusing site is confusing, so I’m trying to make it a little less so. Front page is now a gallery grid to show product lines, and the former landing page – which ended up being more of a blog page than this actual blog page – is just nuked. I’ll try to remember to make announcements here.
Hopefully, this new layout will help show what f(h) is actually about, instead of just some sus text page. And no, it’s not gorgeous, it’s just functional.
As the catchy title implies, I’m broke and need money. This means I need to get a job. I don’t want to just yet because I’d like to at least get the Facehugger control module out to beta testers before I put everything on hold for a bit, which means desperate sale time, yay! Also, it’s Summer, which means that, even though they’re largely sold out of most f(h) modules, it’s the slow time for Synthland, and dealers don’t like to restock until Fall, so this is a great chance to get some unavailable gear for a great price! Now, onwards, to the rules!
What’s covered?
Everything – which means all currently-active product lines, both modules and kits. Which means:
Facehugger – Function Generator, arpeggiator, etc. Preorder item, see note below.
Famine (1500 & 500) – Voltage-controlled power starvation module.
Parasite Antifilter – Hellacious distortion, fuzz, drone generator, ambience generator, drum tone source, I mean holy hell this things is fun and surprising.
Plague Bearer – Voltage-controlled Bandpass filter, distortion, the classic.
It begins when I post this on Friday, July 21st, 2023, and ends after that. Let’s say on Tuesday, July 25th, because that sounds like a sufficiently arbitrary day.
What is not included?
Shipping is not included. I still have to charge for that since they still insist on charging me.
What about availability?
To start, the only ready-to-go items are a few Famine 500, everything else is built when ordered. All long-lead items (panels, pots, jacks) are on-hand, and most other parts are on-hand or can be within one week.
When will my order ship?
When it is ready.
I always wanted to say that. It’s true, but to clarify: that depends on how many orders I get. Most will ship in the default 2-4 weeks, and I’ll let you know of any changes.
How do I order?
Send me your info via the contact page, check the boxes you want, include your preferred PayPal email address, your zip code or country (to calculate shipping), and I’ll send you a PayPal invoice.
What kind of shipping?
This is for all locations, domestic and international:
Shipping always defaults to US Postal Priority shipping. It’s a bit more expensive than First Class/Parcel Post, but it’s faster, has tracking, and is a generally a bit more reliable in today’s shipping hellscape.
First Class/Parcel Post/Snail Mail is still available, but only if you ask for it.
What about…?
Dunno, I’m not you so I didn’t think of that. Send me a question via the contact page and I’ll get back to you.
The alpha prototype has been built, corrected, and is fully working. The design has been updated and the next circuit board designs are almost complete. The beta and (hopefully) final PCBs will be ordered this week, and test units should be sent out to testers next week, and the production units are expected to ship mid-September.
Infernal Noise Machine Blood Box: It’s Summer, so it’s time to build the last of the desktop INM Blood Boxes. The first run sold out and now even the eurorack versions are gone, so this run is the very last of the V2 Infernal Noise Machines that will be built.
The Facehugger all-analog, addressable, non-linear function generator Kickstarter project is now live, please come and show your support: Facehugger project.
I’m actually pretty excited about this one. It’s a lot of fun, and the chaining/paralleling features are going to be even better – but it needs your support to happen. Spread the word!
Doing another run of QPBs. These will have panels with white graphics on flat black (like the faceplates on current modules). Price is $450 + shipping. Lead time is 2-3 months, so sometime in April. Orders accepted until the end of January.
Yes, the last run was supposed to be final, but that was because I couldn’t find any housings anymore. I’ve been watching for and grabbing affordable ones since then. There’s a few more floating around out there, but they cost a lot more than they used to.
The minimum has already been met but more are welcome to join in! Send me an email via the contact page with your location (to calculate shipping) and PayPal email address in the comment section, and I’ll send you a PayPal invoice.
There are only 3 eurorack and 4 3 desktop INM left, there will be no more of this version, so reserve them while they last! The INM-E will be built in January and the INM-D are planned to be built in July.
T-shirts are $15 each when purchased with a module, or $25 each separately. The base shirt is Gildan 200 Ultra-Cotton. Sizes: They haven’t been ordered yet, so tell me your size and I’ll add it to the order.
Note: The shirts will be made if we meet the minimum quantity. I’ll refund your shirt payment if we don’t meet it.

A list of modules that have been tested on Famine is now available on the Famine product page.
This is a list of all modules that have been tested, . Modules found particularly enjoyable to starve/most noticeably (and usefully) affected by starvation marked with “*”, based on our own opinion and those of our testers. All modules are affected to some degree, but it varies with each module. Let us know (via the contact page) what modules you’ve tested and your opinions on the result and we’ll add it to the list.
Preorders: None right now, but Parasite Antifilter preorders open in September.
Stock items:
All products are built when ordered unless otherwise specified or I happen to have built some extra and have them on hand. Most items can be ready to ship in 2-4 days, depending on current schedule. Infernal Noise Machine variants require 1-2 weeks. If you want one, let me know and I’ll get it ready for you!
To order: Send me a message via the contact page with:
Item(s) you are ordering
Your shipping location
Your preferred PayPal email address
For orders outside the USA, tell me if you would like priority shipping with tracking or regular parcel post. There’s usually a $30+ dollar difference between them, but I recommend priority with tracking for larger orders due to the current condition of the shipping industry.
and I will send you a PayPal invoice for your order.
